Hello Everyone,
I am a new member and I need help concerning conducting quantitative research. My topic is: Mathematics Achievement Gap of subtest for fourth and eighth grade black, white and Hispanic females on districtwide standardized math test. I am not sure of the independent variable? Thanks, Willie

Hi Willie, Sorry not to reply sooner. I hope you've got the answer to your question now but in case you haven't... you need a hypothesis first. The hypothesis will determine what you're testing and what your independent variable is. So, from your topic, you need to move to a hypothesis - what are you trying to measure?
