SAGE are proud sponsors of an upcoming two-day event that NatCen and the LSE are arranging.
INFORMING PUBLIC POLICY – New agendas for Social Research Conference 2009, taking place at LSE on 23rd – 24th April.
The conference examines the evolving relationship between social research and policy through both key-note presentations and panel discussions. It offers a superb opportunity for academics and policy makers to forge contacts and identify future challenges and future opportunities for policy-relevant social research. The two-day programme includes speakers who will consider these issues from a wide-ranging perspective, including former and current civil servants, leading academics, high-profile think tank researchers and consultants. Both conference days will have sessions covering different themes such as methods and data and social and political engagement.
