I like that cooment from M. Alkhalifa. When we respond to survey questions we are basically giviing our opinions. But in actual fact these can turn out to be facts as well.

An opinion is an unsubstantiated statement. When a researcher obtains findings about such a statement, it is no longer an opinion, but a result or finding. The finding may still be subsequently contradicted, but it is no longer an opinion when it is found to be supportable or not supportable by research.

According to me Knowledge is expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Every person have such skills but It depends on person to person how we use and implement that..Thanks.

knowledge is a collection of facts believed to be true in a given situation/ time/ state of mind, it is an ongoing process due to the change in time/situation/ state of mind, by then those facts could be considered to be false or incomplete,,,

"Knowledge is nothing but opinions based on partial facts and information' since you are mentioning opinions and opinions can be influenced by society, the statement could be contradicted in both social sciences and philosophy.

Carl Elson Lerenzo King, I think that you can get a better understanding of your topic if you read Michel Foucault. He wrote on knowledge, power, discourse, etc. He was a great philosopher, historian and sociologist. To comprehend his writing fully, I advise you to read his leactures first before leading other people's review of his lectures to avoid confusions. A good university might have a compiled copy of his lectures.

Ok that sounds fine, but I am still grappling with the question. A lot of philosophy involved that is an area quite foreign to me.

Browse around a little, I found his ideas and the references to the ideas of other most valuable.
