The UK Data Service and NatCen are running an introductory webinar about the British Social Attitudes survey.
The British Social Attitudes survey (BSA) is a nationally representative survey of public opinion about life in Britain, and how Britain is run. BSA interviews around 3,000 people and has run most years since 1983. Topics covered include attitudes to social class, welfare, work, politics, the NHS, family and relationships, identity, climate change and much more. The data are collected by NatCen Social Research.
The webinar will cover:
- an introductory overview of the survey and how it is collected
- some examples of how BSA is used
- how to access the data, online documentation and help available from the UK Data Service
This introductory webinar is intended for those who would like to have an overview of the BSA, how it can be used and how to access it. The webinar will consist of a 40 minute presentation followed by 20 minutes for questions.
