Are you thinking of teaching with real data?
This hour-long webinar is designed for teachers who might be interested in using data from the UK Data Service collection as part of their learning and teaching and would like to hear more about how data can be used.
The session on Tuesday 24 September 2013, between 15.00 and 16.00 includes presentations from two university teachers:
- Mark Brown is a Senior Lecturer (teaching focused) in Quantitative Methods and Demography in the School of Social Sciences, University of Manchester, who uses data in his own teaching and in projects designed to increase use of data in university teaching more widely.
- Bethany Morgan-Brett is a teaching fellow in the Department of Sociology, University of Essex, and a member of the UK Data Service team with particular expertise in qualitative data and teaching resources.
