Gender equality is identified by the United Nations as a fundamental human right, and is one of its 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

In recognition of this important goal, SAGE Journals is making access to this collection of articles about gender equality free through July 31, 2018.

Gender inequalities affect health, economic welfare, and well-being at the individual and global levels.

Research from SAGE included in these journals explores the effect inequalities have on society, the impact of gender equality movements, and considerations for pursuing equality in today’s world. This curated collection of multidisciplinary research on gender equality as it relates to themes such as workplace and economy, healthcare, education, policy, activism, and more.
