Archived Webinar: Survey Tips for Librarians

Earlier this month, SAGE Publishing held the webinar Survey Tips for Librarians with survey research expert and University of British Columbia professor Lesley Andres. In it, she shared tips on creating and deploying effective surveys, and explained how librarians can use surveys to better understand how patrons are using the library and what resources they may seek. https://youtu.be/gOYo9ekozOEAndres, who teaches in UBC's School of Education Studies, is editor in chief of the Canadian Journal of Higher Education. Her research and teaching interests include the sociology of education, foundations of higher education, issues of inequality and access, transition across the life course research, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. Lesley's main research projects are the Paths on Life’s Way study, a 22-year longitudinal study of young adults in British Columbia and a related comparison with the Australian Life Patterns longitudinal study. If you were unable to attend the live webinar, you can view the recording above and the presentation slides below.
