“Common Challenges in Thematic Analysis” webinar recording

For anyone who missed this webinar or for those who would like a refresher, below you will find the recording, slides and other thematic analysis resources.

During the webinar, Virginia Braun and Victoria Clarke explored common challenges in thematic analysis (TA) research, how to avoid them – and even how to rework your analysis if necessary.

With a Q&A hosted by fellow academics Nikki Hayfield and Gareth Terry, this webinar focused on Braun & Clarke’s reflexive TA approach, but also considered the wider TA family of methods. Ginny and Victoria were asked about common research hurdles such as confusing themes and topic summaries, "mashing up" incompatible approaches to TA and treating TA as a theory-free method.

You can find more thematic analysis resources here on Victoria and Ginny’s website.
