Revolutionising Qualitative Research with Annotiva

If you are a qualitative researcher, you are no stranger to the challenges of data annotation and coding. Dealing with large datasets or collaborating with teams can quickly turn into a tedious, repetitive process. Not to mention, existing AI-based coding methods often demand a steep technical learning curve, leaving you in the dark when it comes to understanding the nuances of your data.

Annotiva: A Game-Changer for Qualitative Research

As researchers ourselves, we have grappled with the enigma of ambiguous data. That is why we are excited to introduce you to Annotiva—a revolutionary tool designed to simplify qualitative data analysis. Annotiva is driven by our passion for making qualitative research more accessible, efficient, and reliable. We firmly believe that by providing researchers with a streamlined coding tool that fosters collaboration, we can significantly enhance the quality of qualitative analysis across various research domains.

The Benefits

Annotiva utilises patent-pending technology to address coding ambiguities head-on. Equipped with a Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier, it predicts potential areas of disagreement in coded responses, allowing coders to swiftly flag ambiguous data, be it words, phrases, or coded entries. An ambiguity index provides clarity during the collaborative coding process. Additionally, Annotiva offers keyword highlighting and tagging, empowering researchers to delve deep into uncertainties and emerge with crystal-clear insights, even when working asynchronously with other coders.

Join Us on This Journey

While Annotiva is still in its early stages, we invite qualitative researchers from all backgrounds to join us on this transformative journey. Your involvement is crucial in creating a diverse and robust dataset to train our algorithm and improve the software's user interface.
