Call for Proposals: Qual Research in Management conference

The Qualitative Research in Management and Organizations conference will be held March 27 - 29, 2018 in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. See the Call for Proposals and registration information will be posted on the conference website.The theme of the conference is Praxis and Performance in Research. Keynote speakers are Patti Lather, Professor Emerita in Educational Studies,Ohio State University, USA and D. Soyini Madison, Professor of Performance Studies, Northwestern University, USA. The conference will consist of two streams. Stream 1 focuses on exploring issues relating to the conference theme – the possibilities and challenges of research concerned with praxis, performance, and critical ontologies and epistemologies. Stream 2 addresses more general issues relating to methods, voices and ways of writing qualitative research.We will be offering two pre-conference workshops: Creating organizational knowledge through dialogical sense-making: Tools for Enhancing Critical Reflexivity with  Giuseppe Scaratti, Silvia Ivaldi, Mara Gorli, and Crossing Boundaries with Multimodal Qualitative Methods with Janet Salmons.Contact Ann Cunliffe for more information: ann.cunliffe@fgv.br
