Digital Social Research is now Online!

The Digital Social Research project is an exciting step forward for e-Social Sciences. The DSR website is the primary multi-focal community portal for the project where researchers have access to a broad range of information about e-Social Science including funding calls, events, and emerging technologies.

Future developments on the site will be a “Newcomers Corner” where researchers unfamiliar with e-Social Science methods and practise can download training materials and access ready-made tools for applying innovative technology into their own research.  In addition, we will have special pages on Ethics in ICT, a Technology Watch, and funding opportunities.

Digital Social Research will also be operating a Champions programme to encourage the uptake and use of technology-enhanced research in the social sciences.  Visitors to the site will be able to sign-up to be a DSR Champion at their organisation or institution, and to contact other Champions.

The DSR Events page will have information about events, training workshops and conferences hosted by DSR and other community projects. Visitors will be able to register for events directly on the website.  We are also happy to highlight projects from the whole e-Research community.
