The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers is proud to host its 4th annual Data Science and Advanced Analytics Conference this October in Tokyo, Japan. The conference is to be held over three days, at a cost ranging from $522-$788 (57,000yen-86,000yen), and is planned to have over 200 researchers and theorists attending.

Data driven scientific discovery has lead the computing world in areas that include social, service, internet of things,  sensor networks, telecommunications, biology, health care and has been at the forefront of research and ingenuity in a diverse range of topics from the environment to social. Because of variety of topics that data science encompasses, the field has become essential to understanding data and being able to convert that into actionable intelligence so that it may be available to the public, government of enterprises.

The Data Science and Analytics Conference aims to be a flagship of data science research and ingenuity by hosting annual conference for researchers, industry practitioners as well as potential users of data science to congregate and learn about new the cutting edge research that has been made available.

Invited Speakers:

Hiroaki Kitano

President, The Systems Biology Institute President & CEO, Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Inc. professor, Open Biology Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University Group Director, Laboratory for Disease Systems Modeling, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences

Katharina J. Morik
Professor for Artificial Intelligence
Faculty of Computer Science at TU Dortmund, Germany
Spokeswoman of the Collaborative research center SFB 876 “Providing information by resource-constrained data analysis”

The conference will consist of two tracks; research and application. The research track will be aimed and collecting contributions related to theoretical foundations, and the application track is aimed at collecting relevant contributions in real life situations and scenarios.

As well as presenting new theories and future projects that data science plans to adhere to it will also be presenting of past DSAA work that has been proven successful to celebrate accomplishments in its field, by inviting speakers to provide insight and views on the fields work. A panel will also be available, where invited internationally recognized researchers come to discuss challenges in the field. Something new that the 4th annual conference will have available is a “special session” designed to encourage submissions of research on emerging topics in the field. Finally their will also be special keynote speakers that will deliver insight talks on data science and advance analytics.
