This seminar will focus on some of the recent developments in causal mediation analysis and will provide practical tools to implement those techniques. Mediation analysis deals with the mechanisms and pathways by which causal effects operate.

The seminar is intended to be 2 day lecture taught by Dr. Tyler Vanderweele and will discuss approaches to mediation analysis that are valid and and invalid in a practical use. It will also discuss the relationship between traditional methods for mediation in the biomedical and social sciences and new methods of causal inference for dichotomous, continuous, and time-to-event outcomes. Other topics include the use and implementation of sensitivity analysis (to assess how sensitive conclusions are to violations of assumptions) and extensions to multiple mediators.

The two-day seminar, hosted by Statistical Horizons will start October 13 at 9 a.m. and will conclude October 15 at 5 p.m. in Boston, Massachusetts. The cost to attend is $995 for regular registration and $895 for early admission. To register please click HERE.
