The University of Virginia’s Biocomplexity Institute, Darden School of Business, and Data Science Institute in partnership with the Northern Virginia Technology Council, have announced the Data Science for the Public Good Forum!
This forum gives an opportunity for civic engagement through two Forum events, including a Distinguished Speaker Series and Annual Symposium. These events will bring together key public and private stakeholders to discuss how “doing data science” can support evidence-based policy-making and innovation to enhance the quality of life where we all live, learn, work, and play.
The second speaker series will feature, Katharine Abraham, Director of the Maryland Center for Economics and Policy, and a professor of Survey Methodology and Economics at the University of Maryland. She will join the Data Science for the Public Good Distinguished Speaker Series in September.
Join her and the University of Virginia, at this event on June 14th, 2019 at 4pm.
