sometimes when we use the likert scale or any another interval scale , and we calculate the score from that . How can we intreprete its meaning?
Example, I use 5 = very good, 4= good , 3= neutral , 2= poor and 1 = so poor and after ask the question to 100 people . I can calculate the score to 3.65 . How can I mean this score? It could be good or neutral . And how can we judge that meaning? from the normal curve ?
