Bias in academic research work

I have devoted most of my professional life to both industrial and academic research work. Usually, we try to do our work in the best possible way.

However, recent projects have called my attention towards unintentional bias in our daily work, assuming that we do not incur upon it intentionally.

I have raised this question with my research mates in order to know their views and experiences, only to discover that delving into this subject is not welcome by most of them.

So, allow me to take this opportunity for inviting anyone who might be concerned with BIAS in research work as well as its consequences.
