I just started a graduate program in Analytics, and once I am done with my 1st stats class I plan to trade our required textbook in for “Discovering Statistics Using R” to keep as my primary reference. Reviewing your text on amazon.com, it appears that the color images printed throughout the original “SPSS” version have been replaced with gray scale images in the latest “R” version. Can you confirm that is the case for both the Paperback and Hardcover editions? Not that this is a deal breaker, but I would like to know before I purchase. One of my intents is to offer this book to my staff as a reference at work, and since many of them have no stats experience I know that pretty color pictures may help!
