Error with the Join Us Button?

Hi all developers:

I think I noticed a minor glitch–on the far right side of the homepage, there is a methodspace box, then a little button saying Join Us. When you click on it, it just links to the homepage again. Shouldn’t it take users to the jump page where they can sign up to become members?

Hi Stephanie,

I think the idea is that this is a badge which people can use to put on their own sites – John was going to make this a speech bubble to fit in with the site branding. Then, when it’s on someone else’s site, it’ll send people to methodspace.

OK–thanks. Still, it seems a little confusing to the average user–can we rename the button maybe? Maybe rename it “Spread the word” or at least havea little explanation? It just makes it seems like you’re signing up like when you sign up for facebook, etc.
