I am looking for advanced literature on workshops as a method for musical interpretation and knowledge creation. It concerns a phd. student who wants to develop workshops as an alternative to more traditional ways of musical rehearsals. The problem is that she lacks the foundational theories of knowledge related to workshop as method. I can provide her with general literature on the philosophy of science and theories of knowledge but I have not been able to find any specific literature on workshops that elaborate on epistemological and methodological aspects.
