We are doing a series of observations in middle school science classrooms, and looking for a protocol that would help us identify changes in the following:
a. Increased interest in connecting what students are learning in science to mathematics
b. Greater frequency and accuracy of quantification through measurement with and by their students
c. Greater frequency of graphing, displaying, and analysis of data with and by their students
d. Improved use of measurement instruments
If anyone has an instrument that they could recommend, we would be grateful for your suggestions!
