    Abstract submission page
We particularly welcome submissions of abstracts that address the key intersections being discussed at the conference. However, all types of medical anthropology are welcome.

We encourage five types of submissions:

    1) Individual papers
    2) Individual posters
    3) Pre-organized panels of 5-7 papers
    4) Pre-organized workshops of pre-circulated papers
    5) Films and other media

We especially welcome submissions of abstracts for posters, since the afternoon poster session will be a key conference event followed by a reception.

Individual abstracts (for papers, posters, or media) should be e-mailed to Abstracts for presentations to be included in pre-organized panels and workshops should be submitted together by the organizer(s), along with a panel/workshop abstract. Everyone submitting an abstract (including those whose abstract is being submitted by a panel/workshop organizer) must complete the on-line registration form by April 15, 2009.

Abstracts for papers, posters, and media presentations should be no longer than 200 words, and must include a title, the presenter’s name and affiliation, an email address, and a description of the presentation.
