    In our Private Mennonite Christian Day Schools we are struggling with scope and sequence for music theory.  We are looking for a well
    rounded Music Theory Curriculum that starts at Grade One and ends with
    Grade 10.  Is there a plan or milestone chart that would show a teacher
    what musical concepts should be explored and mastered by the end of
    each grade?

    A
    sequence that takes a 1st grader from knowing nothing to a Tenth Grader
    who can do basic Conducting and Composing.  What steps should happen
    between those?   Our Schools do not use Musical Instruments. Rather we
    are primarily training for excellence in Vocal Performance and
    Proficiency Acappella.
