    Planning a quasi-experimental design? Have a look at this! This excellent chapter by Chris Fife-Schaw, deals with experiments where, for a variety of reasons, you do not have full control over the allocation of participants to experimental conditions. Three common quasi-experimental designs are described; the non-equivalent control group design, the time series design and the time series with non-equivalent control group design.

    This is a very well-written chapter in plain language that would be very helpful to my doc students. Thanks!

    Two notable features of your research design which had not been discussed  are;

    firstly the research question, Was the intent to  correlate a cause with an outcome,an effect?

    secondly Ought not a randomised control trial, blinded as well be given consideration.
