    Hi all,

I am researching on the role of the international community in holding states accountable to its citizens (social accountability). I am not sure which research methods will be most appropriate but I am thinking of using two case studies of a successful influence and a less successful influence of the international community. Then I can analyse both situations and draw my conlclutions. I will appreciate any suggestions on appropriate research methods. Thanks.

It seems like focus groups would be the way to go for this. my 2 cents.

What is your research question? The first thing you need to do before picking a method is to formulate a research question. THEN work out which is the best method to answer your question.
