MemberSaurabh, a small question, why do you want to collect real names of people, and not keep the questionnaire anonymous?

MemberMridula, never thought of it….
name is not important, the other data are more important,
Thx for suggestions, I have made it the optional entry, hope it can help me out to get more respondents
At least I need 100 Respondents,to analyze the data…
Request to every 1, kindly fill the form

MemberSaurabh that sounds so much better. Also do you think people will take your questionnaire seriously if you use informal language ‘u’ instead of you? I will surely fill it for you. Give yourself some time to get a decent response rate.
Also just out of curiosity what are your data analysis techniques. And I also have a feeling that for people outside India the question ‘have you ever referred to a research method text book’ would be very surprising! I mean how can you do research if you are not trained for it, but given the Indian context I can understand where it is coming from.

MemberNo problems , I will love to do it……………..I am the guy who believes in knowledge sharing.
I am sharing one of the best inspirational, philosophical powerpoint slide show collection on the portal designed by me…
http://spicyflavours.net and also have a portal for mechanical engineers http://mechanical-engineering.inFrom tomorrow onwards we will be having few classes on spss too…
Can u assist me , how can i get more respondents, I have just a week for me and thanks for filling the questionnaire27th April 2009 at 7:03 am #6174Mridula
MemberSaurabh, one week is too little time. Is it possible to bargain for more time? Do you know of some mailing lists for higher education? You could send your request there too. Also most of the B schools have email of their faculty listed, so maybe a request to them too. But who is your target respondent?
Also how would you analyze your open ended question where you get ‘text’ in response?
Hope I am not bothering you with too many questions.

MemberHey Mridula, You are not at all bothering me….
Look its not easy to find some one who give response so its luck for me, that by chance i came on this portal …I need to look for emails of faculty of B schools ……..
For open ended questions , even I am not sure how can I analyze.but 1 thing ..these questions give u chance of the reply “out of box” which i cannot think of……
and I need to consult research experts and my faculty for further analysis but these open ended questions are key……………
And there had been two or three smart open ended replies..which can be given huge weight age…Let see how it goes….
I started with this
http://spicyflavours.net/index.php?showtopic=11122and then i changed to this
http://sites.saurabhjain.in/research-methodology/problemsthen
the final one
http://research.mypassion.in to give better look (I merged with my biggest social project My passion where I want to provide platform to people to show there passion to world, cannot tell details here as it will be not good but can message u , if u wanna be intrested)just now thought I can add one more dimension say country say what the research scenario in US , what in singapore….but its not easy to work alone..
Time can be increased..but need to get 100 respondents in these 7 days….
Good day
