    hi. can help s.o help me. i want to use spss18 for counting univarate anova, but i’ve forgotten how i should do it. could any one say how i should do it? i have one dependent and 7 independent variables.

    Hello there,

    My argument would be to run a multiple regression. You can get a lot of information from it and you can also ask for an anova table within the MR window.

    Hello Zahra,

     

    First of all, understand what kind of variable is dependent n independent variable are. For Anova, DV should be scale and Ind.V should be categorical variable. If so, u can go ahead with Anova procedure.

    ANOVA and regression are the same thing. 

     

    To do univariate anova in SPSS, Analyze, GLM, Univariate.

     

    If you tell us more about your data, we could probably give better advice about the most appropriate analysis.
