I was just wondering if someone could advise me how to validate a test as i can follow the book for reliability in terms of the cronbach coefficient alpha etc but am lost when it comes to examining validity (concurrent) or intraclass coefficicient relaibility or doing a factor analysis?
everything you would like to know and more about validty can be found in the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing. i’m sure any library would have that book and, if i remember correctly, the first chapter is all about validity (what is it, how to perform a validation process, how to write up the report, etc, etc etc…)
