Hi, everybody. I am doing research on “Employees work engagement and intension to quit”. From literatures I found out that work engagement can be measured by Utrecht work engagement scale (UWES) and intension to quit is measured by propensity to leave scale. But, I didn’t get detail information. Anyone having information about the above measurements can help me.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Kassahun,

The full reference for the propensity to leave scale is:

Lyons, T.F. 1981. Propensity to leave scale of 1971. In Cook, J.D., Hepworth, S.J., Wall,
T.D., & Warr, P.B. (Eds). Experience of Work: A Compendium and Review of 249
Measures and Their Use. New York: Academic Press.

And here’s the manual for the UWES http://www.schaufeli.com/downloads/tests/Test%20manual%20UWES.pdf

    Good luck!

    Hi, Katie,

The UWES test manual that you send is very helpful for me.Thank you. But, I face difficulty to find the full reference for propensity to leave scale because I coudn’t find  a free version of the document from the link and I don’t have access to credit cards.

Thank you again for your kind help!
