• I guess I am caught up in what the “research mentor’s ” role in this research is. Are you the subject of the research in which case the fact that you are a “research mentor” is not relevant to the issue per se. You are the subject and there would need to be all kinds of permissions you can give or give and take back etc. if your role is in assisting the researchers and you are not the subject of the research then I think the need for you to authorize how the researchers then use the help you provide is more murky.
