If you are thinking about your research career, within or outside of academia, these resources might help you to move forward. Some selected sources discuss career planning in a broad sense, others suggest ways to develop beneficial skills such as in networking or presenting  your research.

Research in Action Podcasts

RIA Podcasts are open access. They are available, together with instructional notes, on the Oregon State University Ecampus Research Unit website. You can also find them on your usual podcast download sites.

SAGE Research Methods (SRM)

SRM allows you to download chapters of books, articles, or case studies. You can also watch videos or listen to podcasts. SRM is a subscription-based service; if you don’t have access to a library with SRM you can explore SAGE Research Methods with a free trial.
