Exploring new literature means evaluating research.

We kicked off the 2022 focus on Research<>Relevance in January.

Striving for greater relevance in our research and writing can involve reading outside our familiar disciplines, methodologies, and cultures. How do we understand new areas of scholarship? We need to be able to evaluate research. Fortunately, Frank Dane and Elliott Carhart, Mentors in Residence for January, can help us out. Dane and Carhart are co-authors of a new edition of Evaluating Research: Methodology for People Who Need to Read Research. In this interview we discuss some of the steps involved.
